(This blog post is written when I am not yet an atheist.)
What I want to tell is He, about our GOD. Are you a worshiper, or a non-believer? Religious or blasphemy? Whatever.
Me? Hmmm…I don’t know…lol…Let me be blasphemy for a while. Because what we all believe about God is something that bothers my mind.
What is He?
Most people say “To see is to believe.” Has anyone seen Him? By the way we use masculine gender He/Him, etc. when it talks about God. The first letter is capitalized. Also it is used for someone with an unknown gender right? So, is He a Man or we really do not know. Is there someone or an article define God as a Man?
Where is He?
In HEAVEN. That is what we believe. Has anyone been there? Ehehe…We believe that the soul of good, dead person goes there. Paradise isn’t it? And the bad goes to Hell. Has anyone or anything proven those we called second life in heaven with God or hell with Satan.
Who is He?
God, the CREATOR. Who gave us lives in birth and the one who will take it from us in death. Who creates this world and the living things in it. With different beliefs or religions.
In Christians or Roman Catholic, where I belong, God is known as Jesus Christ’s Father. Some stupid people talks about or in their mind that Christ as God. Jesus is our Lord, our salvation. The Son of God. Uhmm…Is there a name for the God in Christians?
In Islam, Muslims called their God as Allah and Muhammad as their God’s Messiah like Christ. Allah huh…
In Buddhism, well I don’t know much about this religion. I don’t know if Buddha is actually their God or something like Christ and Muhammad. The only information I know about Buddhism is that Buddhists called Buddha as the “The Enlightened,” in the tree of “Bo.” Am I right?
And what about this Jehovah of Jehovah’s Witnesses? Jehovah is the name of their God huh…
The first Christmas…Correct me if I am wrong…A star went down to give light in the place where Christ was born. How come? A star is too big and too hot. That could made earth explode if they collide.
By the way. It makes me curious about the story of Adan and Eve. Is it true or just a myth? If it is true, then how on earth there are billions of humans in this world if all of us came from just one family? How come it is a sin to have sexual relationship or to marry a relative?
There are still more religions and beliefs in this world. There are some who believe in nothing, no God for them. Different beliefs for me is something like different ideas. Meaning, it is like I am not quite sure if God do really exists. Different beliefs, one God who creates everything. So why there are different names for Him? Why wouldn’t we have just one belief? It is like fooling God by giving Him different names.
Are scientists non-believers? Because of Charles Darwin’s Theory which is the “Evolution of Man.” A theory explains that humans came from creatures like monkeys that evolves in different forms (Homo Erectus, Homo Habilis, etc. I forgot the series…lol…) until the Homo Sapiens which is the man.
There are films like “The Da Vinci Code” and “Bloodline” (I don’t know if there are still more films like those) which are anti-Christ movies. I haven’t watched The Da Vinci Code while I have only watched the trailer of Bloodline. Bloodline is a documentary film that searches the tomb of Christ and Mary Magdalene to prove that Christ is married with Mary Magdalene, and the greatest belief of all was just a big joke. These things just mean that there are people who are searching for the truth if God exists or not.
And one more thing. About those things that symbolizes God, Christ, Saints, etc. I remember one of my high school classmate, a Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Kristo) worshiper, because she said that in their religion doesn’t use anything that symbolizes Divine Beings (Statues, Rosary, Crucifix, etc.). She said something like this…”Those things…Are you comparing God/Christ with those things? A wood, a plastic…That is molded into forms of their images.” And something like this…”Those symbols are nothing…Because you can pray to God directly to Him…Without the use of those symbols.”
Hmmm…By the way…In Church of Christ, its worshipers do not eat foods that has blood or mixed with blood. Because they say that…”Blood is life.” Yup! That is true. But, can you live without internal organs? Or simply, can you live having just blood?
Do God really exists? Why those beliefs start only at that time? Why doesn’t God make that happen again or just simply show His self to mankind just to prove that He really exists. If we can turn back time…sure the truth will be revealed.
Lots of people go to church to pray and hear mass. But, are all of them go there with those intentions? Some go to church just to be formal with his/her outfit. Some just wanted to see pretty or sexy girls for boys and handsome guys for girls. Some just to make an errand with his/her friends. They are just chatting. Not praying or hearing mass. To tell the truth, I really don’t go to church on Sundays. Even once a year is rare. Ehehe…I know it is bad to say that I am lazy or have no time for it. For me, it doesn’t matter how often you go to church or not at all. The important is…”Just, believe, love, and directly pray in God with all your soul then…I think it is enough to be blessed by Him."
What if the greatest story ever told…was a lie?…
