Eyespeak

The eyes say. The eyes convey. Do eyes speak? Yes. Honesty, than lips do.

Before I had written this blog post, I was trying to observe and study someone's mood, emotion or feelings by looking into his/her eyes. Kind of fun, mostly when I look at baby's eyes, the eye of innocence, eyes that always have the look of astonishment. Kids, the observing eye, liked to look at his/her surroundings, astonished, flabbergasted, eyes that always smile. Cry only when scolded or physically hurt. They are innocent about the hell this world has.

On the other hand, teenagers and onwards, the age where love and pain bloom. Unknowingly gazing into one's eyes. Amazed, joyful, stable, mad, sad, questionable eyes. What else their eyes could be? The sorrowful eyes. The one I am curious to know what is the reason behind those eyes. Why have that sad look?

Beauty. That is what others say about my eyes. But some, a friend I have been with seldom, a psychology student, told me that when the first time he saw me, introduced by my comrades, he said that there is something in me, behind these eyes, loneliness, mysterious. True.

My eyes seek and see only the real beauty. Eyes of a critic.

"Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate."

"You always smile but in your eyes your sorrow shows."

"Look into my eyes and see how they shine. But if you stare deeply, you will see that they cry."
